Freelancer.com’s identity verification policy makes clear that failing to complete KYC verification can lead to account suspension. In the same spirit, RemindUX requires all authors to complete a Know-Your-Customer (KYC) verification (government ID and other proof) before selling.

Authors must also demonstrate professional expertise: RemindUX expects roughly 1–2 years of relevant experience in the subject matter.

Similar marketplaces enforce comparable standards. For example:

• Creative Market asks prospective sellers to submit a link to an online portfolio as part of the shop application.

• Likewise, RemindUX requires authors to provide a work portfolio or examples for manual review.

• (By contrast, highly specialized marketplaces like Reedsy require even more experience; Reedsy explicitly mandates at least three years of industry experience for freelancers.)

Only applications that pass these checks (KYC, experience, portfolio review) will be approved.

Commission and Revenue Share

Creative Market describes its model as a “fair revenue split” where commission rates “vary per shop/per product.”
RemindUX uses a similar variable structure: there is no single fixed fee for all items.

Exclusivity Policy

Authors who wish to sell the same product outside RemindUX must first request written permission from RemindUX.
Only with explicit approval may a listed item be offered on multiple platforms.

Otherwise, RemindUX treats the listing as exclusive to its marketplace.

In recognition of exclusivity, RemindUX may offer additional benefits such as:

• Higher search visibility

• Featured placement

• Promotional opportunities

These incentives encourage unique offerings and ensure product transparency.

Product Control

Authors retain full control over their listings.

• You may edit any product details (title, description, files, price, etc.), subject to review for compliance with RemindUX’s content policies.

• If an update introduces disallowed content, RemindUX may require further edits or reject the change.

• Authors may also permanently delete any product from the marketplace at any time.

⚠️ Deleted products cannot be recovered or restored by RemindUX.

Content Standards and Restrictions

• Original and Licensed Content:
  Every product must be 100% original or properly licensed to the author.
  Pirated, counterfeit, or unauthorized copies of any material are strictly prohibited.

• No Adult or Explicit Material:
  Pornographic, obscene, or sexually explicit content is strictly prohibited.
  (E.g., Etsy’s policy bluntly states “pornographic content is not allowed”; RemindUX follows the same standard.)

• Legal Compliance:
  All products must comply with applicable laws and industry regulations.
  Content that promotes illegal activities (e.g. hate speech, extreme violence, defamation) is banned.

• Ethical and Cultural Sensitivity:
  Content must respect cultural and religious norms.
  Material that is offensive, discriminatory, or otherwise provocative is not permitted.
  RemindUX’s community guidelines require all items to align with ethical standards.

Payout Process

RemindUX’s Payment page lists the current available withdrawal methods and fees.

• Options may include bank transfers, PayPal, and others depending on the author’s country.

• Always check the latest supported methods before requesting a payout.

General Legal Clauses

• Platform Rights:
  RemindUX reserves the right to review, edit, refuse, or remove any author content at any time.
  (Similar to marketplace terms that state: “We may edit or remove Your Content at any time.”)

• Author’s License to RemindUX:
  By uploading content, authors grant RemindUX a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, market, and distribute the work.
  This license allows listing, promoting, and delivering the product to buyers.
  Authors retain ownership of their content outside the marketplace.

• Changes to Terms:
  RemindUX may update or amend these Author Terms at any time.
  The latest version will always be posted on the site.
  Continuing to use the platform after changes are posted means acceptance of the updated terms.
